Ralf aka RC Hoffmann loves the look and feel of the Serge Modular Music System and came up with the idea of making it more flexible and easier to get into. The Serge is an analogue modular synthesizer system developed by French composer and electronic designer Serge Tcherepnin in the 1970s at The California Institute of the Arts. Serge’s vision to create a “people’s synthesizer” led to a unique modular music system with an iconic design. In collaboration with and under licence from Serge Tcherepnin, Random*Source offers a range of Serge modules in 4U, combining the original Serge circuits with the advantages of today’s technology. Random*Source is renowned for painstaking development work and uncompromising built-quality – and with this knowledge, experience and philosophy they now bring you fully built Serge modules in Euro (3U) – what more could you want? Power to the people!
