Liivatera – set up by Phil Macphail – offers a different perspective on the modular synthesiser concept. The products are influenced by the combination of a history in high-volume product design and a long-term interest in electronic musical instruments. The general objective is to provide a simple interface, while offering maximum versatility – accessible with hidden depths.

This approach results in compact designs that are ‘skiff friendly’ without loosing functionality, and will reward beginners and experienced users alike.
