Wiard Borg 2 Filter
Sanctioned by Grant Richter of Wiard Synthesizer Company, this module is exactly the same as the original 1213A, only in eurorack format. The Borg uses a completly new filter design using “Vactrol”-based electronic circuitry that provides a certain amount of slew, giving the filter a very woody and warm tone.
Where did the Borg name come from? It combines features from the Vactrol-based Buchla 292 Quad Voltage-Controlled Lopass Gate +Korg MS-20 High & Low-Pass Filters.
